What is IBISWorld?

IBISWorld provides members with access to its online platform of industry research products. IBISWorld’s data and analysis on thousands of industries worldwide help you make better business decisions.

How do I become an IBISWorld member?

If you’re interested in becoming an IBISWorld member, please submit a membership inquiry to speak to an IBISWorld representative about your research needs and get an introduction to our platform.

I’m a new IBISWorld member. How do I get started?

Follow these steps to create your IBISWorld account and start using the platform.

Create your account

Once you or your account administrator has set up your IBISWorld membership, you should receive an email with the subject line “Please complete your IBISWorld profile” to create your account.

Navigate the platform

When you first log into the IBISWorld platform, you’ll land on the homepage. Take the “Tour the homepage” tour in the new user onboarding checklist in the bottom left corner of your screen, or read our How To Use Your Homepage guide.

Getting started with Industry Reports

Industry Reports are our main product, covering 30-40 pages of data and analyst-written insights. Industry Reports are categorized by collection and cover varying levels of information based on which template they follow.

Getting support

You can find answers to frequently asked questions in the Support section of our help center or search our entire help center directly in the IBISWorld platform by clicking the question mark icon in the bottom right corner and searching using keywords.

How do I contact my Client Relationship Manager?

All IBISWorld users are assigned a Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to ensure all their research needs are met.

Find your CRM’s contact info by clicking the profile icon in the upper right-hand corner of the IBISWorld platform.

To message your CRM directly in the platform, click the question mark icon in the bottom right corner, select “Send us a message”, then select “Send a message to my Client Relationship Manager.”

Free trials

If your research needs go beyond the information included in Industry Reports or the other products included on your license, certain accounts can quickly and easily start a free trial of any of our products, without the assistance of your Client Relationship Manager. If you’re unable to start a free trial, please reach out to your Client Relationship Manager for assistance.
